Cellphones are another amazing development in the race of technological advancement in the Nepal also. Cellphones gives us the security of being able to reach people at anytime, anywhere almost immediately and having access to a world of information at our fingertips. The purpose of the Nepalese people using a cellphone. Basically, the convenience of being able to contact a person mostly anywhere any time and in the present days Nepalese people use their cellphones for entertainment mostly, what with most phones having mp3 capability, gaming experience,internet, taking pictures and so on. The Nepalese people using a cellphone for various use like, if in a car accident, we can contact someone right away. Can contact family or friends in case of an emergency and we are out of the house. We are at a grocery store and forgot list, so we can call home and get list. In case power goes out, we have a way to contact people. Can be many things in cellphone like mp3 player, camera, internet, gprs. If we are on vacation, then people can contact us. Have contact with our children at all times. First of all the main purpose.To call people when we are not able to reach them any other way.All the usefull features that is just added for fun when we are on a bus or train or just really bored.Example, mp3 player, camera, games etc. I can see from this that it all depends on each individual how they want to use their cellphones. Most of the Nepalese people here have the same purposes of using their cellphones. Parents buy their children cellphones for they can live in touch if they out of the house and for giving the knowledge of technology development.
